What is  https://www.google.co.in/?gws_rd=ssl ?

It just a cookie link redirected to your browser based on the country.

For past few months when we type google.com it redirects us to our country site mentioning as
google.co.uk
google.co.in
google.co.kr
google.co.nz
google.co.au
with that an extra query like structure will be there.
like one of these https://www.google.co.in/?gws_rd=ssl

Here in ?gws_rd=ssl
gws means Google Web Server,
rd means Redirect,
ssl means Secure Socket Layer.

SSL is a protocol that provides secure communications on the Internet for such things as web browsing, e-mail, instant messaging, and other data transfers.
